President Message

I am delighted to share the impactful endeavors undertaken by the "Guntur Diocese Social Service & Welfare Society (GDSS&WS)" in collaboration with the collective efforts of generous Donor agencies, Communities, dedicated Volunteers, and our diligent coordinating Staff and Committee members. We are fostering positive change and making a lasting impact aimed at empowering marginalized communities and individuals through different social service activities.

For 48 years, our organization has remained steadfast in its commitment to providing opportunities for disadvantaged individuals, families, youth, and elderly irrespective of gender or age.

In addition to our social service activities, GDSS & WS actively engages in initiatives aimed at promoting social justice, equality, and love for the marginalized. Through comprehensive community outreach programs, essential healthcare services, educational support, skill training programs, provision of drinking water facilities, housing assistance, and addressing various basic needs, including support during natural calamities, we are dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our community and fostering a spirit of care and collaboration.

GDSS & WS acts as a vital conduit for fostering collaboration and collective action between beneficiaries and stakeholders to ensure that the resources and opportunities available in our community are realized. Together, we continue to strive to ensure equitable access to resources and opportunities for all.

This year is special as we celebrate 50 years of service in 2026 and continue our mission of promoting justice, equality, and hope in the Guntur diocese. Let’s work together to make this Golden Jubilee year a testament to the power of unity and collective action for positive change.
